Patient referred to clinic for increased bruising. Patient reports heavier menstrual flow, frequent bloody nose recently.

Patient got her period two days after the shot and very heavy. Her menstrual cycle is generally erratic and heavy, but this was more excessive and longer than usual.

Could be completely coincidental, but almost two weeks (4 days prior to her second vaccine) patient started her menstrual cycle for the 2nd time in less than a month. She has a very regular 28 day cycle and has never had this happen before.

Swollen face on left side and red bump on face Red rash on left arm site of injection Period went off prior to vaccine and now period has returned. This has never happened before.

Unable to fall asleep normally. First two night she was awake 5 hours later than usual. Now still having trouble falling asleep but only a few hours past when she would normally fall asleep. Her normal period ended on April 26th, she received her second shot on May 1st her period came back again on May 6th unexpectedly. Instead of just blood flow it seems to be tissue?? in the mix as well and heavier than usual.

Patient presented to the ED with dizziness, fever and heavy vaginal bleeding around 24 hours after receiving her first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. She was tested for active COVID-29 infection via nasal swab PCR and tested positive. Upon presentation labs were drawn and her platelet count was found to be 8 on 5/15. Repeat labs were drawn that day to confirm low platelet count and confirmed diagnosis and thrombocytopenia secondary to an immune reaction to the vaccine was suspected. She was admitted and was started on tranexamic acid, medroxyprogesterone, dexamethasone and IV immunoglobulin (Ig) to help treat low platelet count and vaginal bleeding. As of writing, she is still admitted and her most recent platelet count on 5/17 was 16.

i skipped my period, my period is usually very regular and i missed an entire cycle. currently having a very intense, heavy, and cramp filled period which is irregular

Patient's period started, as expected one week after her vaccine, but was much heavier than normal. After that period ended, she got her period again on June 7th with incredibly heavy bleeding and painful cramping (the cramping was so bad it had her up all night June 8th). The second period is a total surprise given the she is taking her birth control regularly. Also the heavy bleeding and extreme cramping is not normal for her on her birth control.

My daughter was vaccinated May 26. When her period started the following week she had a cycle unlike any she's had in the previous 3 years since she started menstruating. Her cycle was sporadic, heavier than ever and lasted longer. Simultaneously, she felt faint constantly for over 4 days, was unable to stand for more than 15 minutes, and was nauseated constantly for 5 days during her period. The ONLY thing that is different in her life this month is that she received her first dose of the vaccine. Her doc had bloodwork done and her results were perfectly normal, meaning there is no other reason to point to other than the fact that she had the 1st vaccine dose.

It could be that I?m just sixteen, but I started the worse period of my life today. It is really heavy (more so than normal) and I?ve been having some pretty intense cramps. For the first time in my life I?m considering taking some sort of pain medication for my cramps. I didn?t have any of the usual signs that it was coming. As in, I normally cramp for maybe 2 days before my actual period starts. My cycles are normally quite long and irregular, but that ?pre-cramping? always happens. I?m also really tired, but that seems normal as everyone else in my family was super tired and their arm hurt.

After awakening, patient reported feeling faint and tingling in her extremities. Patient was breathing heavily. After breathing normalized, patient reported severe menstral cramps. Patient was given Midol, water, and pretzles. Shortly after, patient stated that she was still light headed so she laid on the ground. Patient eventually recovered and left pharamcy.

Patients Mom states that after completing the COVID-19 series she has had a very irregular menstrual cycle, irregular hormone levels, and anemia. The patient has been hospitalized due to these issues

She started her menstrual 10 days late with heavy clots and cramps which is abnormal. When she went to her 16 yr old well visit on 7/17 we informed her PCP of the concerns.

Vaccinated on 05/22/21. On 06/10 patient woke up with unusually painful menstruated cramps. She proceeded to stand up and passed out hitting her head on wall. She went to er required stitches. Had full blood workout, ct scan , ekg, and chest X-ray. No abnormalities noted. Likely she passed out due to the pain reaction. Subsequent first day of. On July 27. Woke up with severe cramps and felt like passing out. Previous to first vaccination she had never had cramps this severe. Nor had never passed out her second vaccination was on June 16, 2021.

About 20 minutes after receiving the shot I got drowsy. About 30 minutes to an hour later I started having mild stomach cramps similar to menstrual cramps. I later found out I had menstrual bleeding (about 2:30 PM). This was unnatural for me because I have an IUD and have had it for 9 months, so I haven't been getting PMS like cramps or my cycle for the past few months.

My daughter has the Nexplanon arm implant to address her irregular menstrual periods and for the past two years has basically not had a menstrual period. Approximately 3-4 days after receiving the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, she started a very heavy menstrual period and is still experiencing it. It is precisely the type of menstrual bleeding that resulted in the Nexplanon being prescribed.

Patient began her menstrual cycle on normal schedule April 16th 2021. The flow was much lighter than normal in the beginning then after a few days it was normal flow. Her periods have always been 4 to 7 days long. Her period has been ongoing since 4/16/21 and has fluctuated In flow.

2 hrs after vaccine started having chills and fever by Thursday April 22 her legs starting hurting pain moved from toes and all the way up to back then it stated moving to her hands and fingers. got admitted to hospital because they wanted to make sure she wasn't having syptoms of MS they did blood work, MRI, covid test, xrays, lupus test, physical therapy, nerves test, lime disease test and everything came back fine by sunday they sent her home and she started having stomach pains and had to go back to Dr. she has experience hair loss and it started her menstrual cycle early. was having alot of fatigue and its's been a month and she is now finally started to feel a little better but Dr dont know how long it will be before she is fully herself

Historical vaccine included bnt162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE, formulation: Solution for injection, Batch/Lot Number: ER8733) via an unspecified route of administration, in left arm on 29Mar2021 at 13:30pm (at the age of 17-year-old) as dose 1, single for covid-19 immunisation and experienced no reaction. Prior to vaccination patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19. Since the vaccination the patient had not been tested for COVID-19. The patient did not receive any vaccines within four weeks prior to the vaccination. On 17May2021 at 07:00 am, the patient experienced prolonged menstruation started 2 days after vaccine. Ruptured ovarian cyst one month after vaccine. Second prolonged menstrual cycle shortly after ruptured cyst. Second ovarian cyst one month after the first ruptured cyst. She had no prior history of prolonged/irregular menstrual cycles or ovarian cysts. The patient did not receive any treatment for the event. The events resulted in doctor or other healthcare professional office/clinic visit, emergency room/department or urgent care. Outcome of all events was not recovered. My monthly period started the day before I was vaccinated, June 11th,2021. It stopped on the 15th. It started again on the 22nd and hasn?t stopped. Today is July 1st, 2021.

Pt states that she "missed her period" after receiving her vaccine. She received her vaccine 06/15/2021. Her period was due 07/02/2021. On 07/01/2021 she noticed a very light "brownish tint only" that last 4 days. She has very normal 4-5 days of bright red blood, heavier flow periods and has never missed a period.

For the 4 weeks following the first COVID vaccine dose the patient had significant loss of taste and smell, mild nausea, mild aches and pains and increased anxiety. This resulted in an approximate 8 lbs weight loss, an acute drop in school performance & psychiatrist increased her SSRI medication dosage. The patient's medical history included nuts allergy and muscle spasms from an unknown date and unknown if ongoing Concomitant medication included ascorbic acid (C-VITAMIN) taken for an unspecified indication, start and stop date were not reported, chlorophyll (CHLOROPHYLL) taken for an unspecified indication, start and stop date were not reported. after the first dose her daughter experienced spotting (on 25Apr2021) for 4 days and then her menstrual cycle came which lasted 8-10 days of heavy bleeding (30Apr2021). it was so excessive bleeding that patient had to change pads a lot. Caller stated it has slowed down since yesterday. The patient usually only spots the day before she gets her period. When the patient came on her cycle, she bled heavy and could not go to work and was changing her pad every 1-2 hours. The caller had the patient take an iron pill. The patient's period finally eased up on day 10 and started slowing down. Today, 13May2021 the patient only had to change her pad once. The patient's second dose is due the 20May2021. The outcome of event spotting was unknown, whereas the event heavy bleeding was recovering. No follow-up attempts are possible. No further information was expected.

Medical history included COVID -19 (Prior to the vaccination, the patient was diagnosed with COVID-19). The patient had no known allergies to medications, food or other products. Concomitant medications included ethinylestradiol, norgestrel (CRYSELLE) and birth control; all from an unknown date for unknown indication. Since the vaccination, the patient had not been tested for COVID-19. The patient did not receive any other vaccines within four weeks prior to COVID vaccine. On 05Apr2021, the patient experienced spotting menstrual one week after the first dose of the vaccine. The patient menstrual cycle had changed. The patient was on birth control and had never spotted while using pill. The events did not result in doctor or other healthcare professional office/clinic visit, emergency room/department or urgent care. No therapeutic measures were taken as a result of the reported event. The clinical outcome of spotting menstrual was unknown. No follow-up attempts are needed; information about lot/batch number cannot be obtained.

The day after the vaccine, I started to experience severe uterine cramps and bleeding heavier than my usual menstrual period. What is unusual about it is that, according to my birth control pill schedule, I was not expecting to get my period until at least six days later. This may or may not have been a direct effect of the vaccine, but I though that I should report it just in case.

I started having vaginal bleeding on April 14th. The first day, it was the same amount as a regular period. In the days following, the bleeding became very heavy, having me go through a super-sized tampon with a pad every 1 and a half to two hours along with several large blood clots each time changing. On the 15th, I called the on-call nurse for my gynocologist and she said that it might have been from the vaccine and taking birth control, since many patients of hers had called with the same problem. The bleeding continued at this rate all the way until my second dose on April 29th. I saw my primary doctor that day and she tested my hemoglobin, which came up at 10.7, which was slightly anemic. She prescribed an Iron supplement and told me to skip my "period" days and go straight to my next pack of birth control when the one I was using was finished. The next day, I experienced severe nausea, diarrhea, chills, fever-like symptoms, difficulty breathing, and extreme fatigue. I went to the Emergency Room, and they gave me about an IV and a half. They said I had extreme dehydration, and was slightly more anemic than when tested the day before. Following that day, the bleeding was significantly lighter and then stopped for a few days on the following Thursday when I started my new pack of birth control. I had little to no blood for.a couple days, followed by bloody discharge up until Tuesday night, the 11th of May, when the bleeding started again, being about the same amount as a regular period. I am still currently bleeding at this rate.

Medical history included contraception from an unknown date and unknown if ongoing. Concomitant medication included ethinylestradiol, ferrous fumarate, norethisterone acetate (LARIN FE) taken for contraception, start and stop date were not reported. It was reported that the patient received her first dose of Pfizer-Biontech Covid19 vaccine 09Mar2021. She mentioned that almost immediately afterward she had breakthrough bleeding and now she has a "full blown period" even though she was on the pill. She wanted to know whether this has been reported, and if she should be concerned. She added that she got the Covid vaccine on Tuesday 9Mar2021, and since then she has been having a lot of menstrual spotting, she was not supposed to get her period for another week or two. This started almost immediately after she got the vaccine about an hour or two after on the same day. She was unsure if this could be a side effect of the vaccine. Stated it had progressively gotten worse and was now a full blown period. Stated she does not typically have any breakthrough bleeding. The outcome of the events was not recovered.

On May 7, about a week after my second dose, I began spotting. I spotted for 5 days. I usually have very normal periods. I have never experienced this before. My period is now 13 days late. I am not pregnant and there is no chance that I would be.

One day after getting 1st covid vaccination vaginal bleeding for 21 days and joint pain. Joint pain has not subsided.

My period, which has been regular on the dot since I was 14, has been thrown off. I missed it for the first time ever in March and didn't have it again until the end of April. She already had a Nexplanon in place, had it removed on 03/18/2021 and a IUD placed the same day. She has been perscribed two different birth control pills (progesterone and estrogen) but is still bleeding "heavy".

2 weeks after my second dose , during menstruation I bled very heavy for a month , I was seen at a clinic ,they told me to go to hospital asap. The hospital told me to go to a specialist . That specialist gave me lots of pills to stop the bleeding . It stopped none of the 4 doctors I seen could figure out the root problem . This has never happened before, therefore the vaccine has something to do with it .

Medical history included Drug hypersensitivity from an unknown date and unknown if ongoing penicillin allergy. The patient's concomitant medications were not reported. The patient did not receive any other vaccines within 4 weeks prior to the COVID vaccine. There were no other medications the patient received within 2 weeks of vaccination. The patient experienced bleeding vaginally four days after receiving her first dose of the Pfizer Covid 19 vaccine on 26Jan2021. Nexplanon removal & IUD insertion treatment was received for event bleeding vaginally four days after receiving her first dose of the Pfizer COVID 19 vaccine. Prior to vaccination, the patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19 and also since the vaccination, the patient has not been tested for COVID-19. 1. My period, which I got on April 20th (18 days after dose 2), resulted in extreme and debilitating cramps, which are lasting to this day. They're so bad I can't get out of bed for the first two days of my period - then I have infrequent occasional pangs of pain on day 3, and I'm okay days 4 and 5. I have never had cramps during my cycle before April 2021. 2. On April 16th, I was driving my car and I noticed that when I had my foot on the the brake, it was shaking uncontrollably in almost every position I put my leg in. The frequency of this leg tremor during driving became more frequent, and I started noticing heightened anxiety, trouble focusing, weight loss of 7 pounds thus far (my weight has not fluctuated more then 3 pounds in the last 4 years so this was a surprise to me), lightened period, increased heat intolerance, heart palpitations that keep me awake at night and tachychardia, muscle weakness, and fatigue. I had a really stressful semester in school so I chalked these symptoms up to anxiety. Then, in the first week of June, I went to the gynecologist to get the cramps situation checked out. She told me she wanted me to check out my thyroid for the rest of the symptoms. When my blood test came back, my Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) result came back as 0.03 (lowest acceptable range is 0.4). My primary care provider ran T3 and T4 tests, which came back as 15 and 5, respectively - which are both quite elevated for their range. So, I went to an endocrinologist at my primary care provider's referral, who ran more tests. This time, they found TSH to be 0.006 (got lower), T3 and T4 were elevated, very slightly lower than they were before. My endocrinologist then ran a test for Thyroglobulin antibody, which came back as 53.3, when the highest reference value was 0.9. Thus, my endocrinologist determined hyperthyroidism, but wanted to figure out the what I had so she sent me for a thyroid uptake scan. In the scan, they found my thyroid to be working at 51%, when the highest value after 24 hours of receiving the radioactive iodine was 33%, and my endocrinologist determined that I had Graves' Disease, an autoimmune hyperthyroid disease. I am now on Methimazole and Propranolol for Graves' Disease. I don't know if the vaccine caused my horrendously painful cramps and the onset of the autoimmune disease, but I just wanted the CDC to know! I am curious to know if there is a correlation. Medical history included hormonal implant inserted in Feb2019 and birth control. The patient did not have any allergies to medications, food, or other products. Concomitant medications included etonogestrel (NEXPLANON) for birth control from an unknown date. The patient did not receive any other vaccines within 4 weeks prior to the COVID vaccine. Prior to the vaccination, the patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19. Since the vaccination, the patient had not been tested for COVID-19. On 28Mar2021, within 12 hours of receiving the vaccine, the patient started to have period and it had not varied greatly in flow and cramps. No therapeutic measures were taken as a result of adverse events. The adverse event did not result in a visit to the doctor or other healthcare professional office/clinic visit, and emergency room/department or urgent care. The clinical outcome of the events irregular periods and menstrual cramps was unknown at the time of this report. Pt is a female on birth control (Nexplanon, left arm) and has not had her menstrual cycle since 9/2019. After receiving the COVID vaccine, pt experienced severe cramps and began her menstrual cycle with heavy flow. This is a manageable adverse reaction, but important to consider when administering COVID vaccines to female pts and how they might interfere with fertility, menstruation, and hormones.

Every time I have received the vaccine I have started my period shortly after. I do not take the placebos for my birth control as my periods are very painful. Both times I had not missed a day on my birth control. I just thought this was information that may be useful for you.

I have had my period since I was 13 years old, and I am now 20, almost 21 in four days. I am fully up to date with all my vaccines and have NEVER had an effect like this before. Since the second dose of my Pfizer vaccine, I got my period four days after, which was normal at day 31. After this immediate period, my periods have been REMARKABLY LATE FOR THE PAST THREE, ALMOST FOUR MONTHS. Once this initial period was over, it took me 50 days to get my next period, and I am now on day 40 with no period. For the past seven years, my periods have been EXTREMELY regular like clockwork, 28-32 days every month. I called my OBGYN office, as I thought I must be pregnant even though I cannot recall engaging in vaginal intercourse. They told me if I skipped two cycles then I should come in and get checked out, and to take another pregnancy test the next week. I ended up taking five pregnancy tests, and they were all negative. I have tracked my periods on an app on my phone for years, and I have never been this late in my entire life. I am not exceedingly stressed, I am not strenuously exercising, I am not taking part in any sexual activity that would lead to pregnancy- I am not doing anything I can think of that would make my periods late. My Dysmenorrhea was a huge issue for me until I started taking Norethindrone, which fixed the issue. However when I got the Covid vaccine my Dysmenorrhea returned. I vomited and had severe cramping. My cramping used to be two days. On Norethindrone I had no cramps or vomiting, I didn't even have a flow during my menstrual cycle anymore. After the vaccine, I vomited, had cramps for 4 or 5 days, (so worse than before). I have continued to have spotty breakthrough bleeding on and off for three weeks, which is much longer than it has ever been. I'm concerned about what will happen with the second dose of the vaccine.

I had a sore arm the first day after the shot. Two days after I woke up from my sleep with very bad chills and a 102 fever at 11:30 pm. I was vaccinated on Tuesday, felt normal reaction. Woke up Saturday morning with excruciating pain from my right armpit to the bottom of my rib cage. Pain was worse every time I inhaled. My breast on the right side swelled up and became red splotchy and hot. Had fever symptoms for 2 to 3 days afterwards. The excruciating pain in my chest and rib cage subsided within 6 to 8 hours. However the swelling in my right breast and redness did not subside for about three days.

As someone who has been on the same birth control for many many years (brand/type is NORG-EE oral contraceptives), with no previous issues and an extremely regulated cycle, the effects I experienced were far from normal. My periods came a week early, and lasted for the entirety of the rest of the cycle (totaling 2 weeks of bleeding). The bleeding was extremely heavy containing intense and large clotting for the entirety of the period. These side effects coupled have caused me to feel fatigued to the point of feeling like I needed to pass out, and due to this I adopted to taking iron supplements daily during the irregular bleeding (chelated iron, 18 mg capsules as recommended). As a result of this concerning symptom, I scheduled a visit to see my primary OBGYN, and was told that this is a common issue that they have been seeing following patient vaccinations. The patient reported that 3 days after first vaccination she started to get itchy all over body her skin felt like it was on fire and she laid in bed with ice cubes on it. Cold showers helped to ease the burning and itchiness. She had hives all over her body and a mysterious rash with red bumps. It appeared on her thighs, calves, arms, chest, face, neck, and stomach, her neck was so itchy that she accidentally scratched off a birth mark. The doctor told her to take Benadryl and applied Benadryl cream both of which did not help. She ended up at the ER where she was prescribed me 40 mg of Prednisone to take for 5 days. The rash went away as soon as she took the meds. A few days after that she got Petichae bruises on body and other mysterious bruises. She went in to see her primary care doctor who told that she had a severe allergic reaction and that it's unsafe for her to get second dose. She also got her period which she haven't had in a year due to PCOS. This occurred for around 2-3 weeks. Approximately 1 month following second dose of COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer), patient noticed increased in spotting on active tablets of birth control prior to starting placebo pills. Patient states that this lasted for a few days prior to starting placebo pills, then subsided. She attributes this increase in spotting a month following her second COVID-19 vaccine dose.

Heavy menstrual period occurred right after shot was administered. My cycle is usually regular, I was not supposed to have a period for two weeks. Nothing else would have affected it (no birth control, no chance of pregnancy).

It was unknown if patient had covid prior vaccination. No other vaccine in four weeks. Patient did not test covid post vaccination. Outcome of the event was recovering. Medical history included ventricular septal defect (VSD) from an unknown date and unknown if ongoing, heart murmur from an unknown date and unknown if ongoing. There were no concomitant medications. The patient did not have any known allergies. The patient did not receive any other vaccine within 4 weeks prior to the vaccine. Prior to the vaccination, the patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19. It was also reported that since the vaccination, the patient had not been tested for COVID-19. On unknown date, the patient experienced Extremely heavy (irregular) period with continual bleeding which has with in the last week stopped, Extreme lasting fatigue, Muscle Soreness, Tingling Skin. No treatment was received. Outcome of the events was Recovered/Resolved with Sequel.

Advil was taken for the headache that night and the next day and helped a bit. Just rest was the most effective. My arm was sore for a couple days after each dose and went away over time. Period was late, as it was due in-between the doses but did not arrive until the day after the second dose (This could have been stress related but is very abnormal)

I have been spotting since my first shot on 4/13/21 which I didn?t think anything of. And then after my second dose on 5/4/21, I started my period today on 5/6/21. I am not supposed to get my period until 10 days from now. I have never had a period come early as my cycle is like clockwork due to my birth control.

The reporter finally got her daughter to come home from school and she took her to the emergency room on 17Apr2021. When the lung had collapsed, she felt worse and then she was in the hospital for an entire week. This event required hospitalization from 17Apr2021 to 29Apr2021. On 23Apr2021 she had a tube in her chest that was drawing the air out and they did something where they inflated her lung to see if it would stay and it wouldn't stay so they had to do surgery on 26Apr2021. When they went to do surgery they saw that on the outer part of her lung where the hole was that it wouldn't heal and they saw that it was like a cobble stone texture on the outside of the lung. The patient was in the hospital until 29Apr2021 and she was in the ICU the entire time. She went for check-ups and everything seemed to be good and her lung had healed. The caller was trying to connect dots between her family members and she had asked her daughter how she felt right after the COVID vaccine and her daughter said that she felt like "ehhh" and then on 12Apr2021 she had the back pain, then on 13Apr2021 she had air bubbles in her chest and on 15Apr2021 she was trying to walk to bars and she was out of breath. On 16Apr2021 the urgent care said they saw a cyst that was ready to burst on her lung and she was on bed rest and was given steroids. The caller thought that the swelling and the lymph nodes and having the cobble stone texture were all from irritation and then it had made a blister that popped creating the hole. On 29Jun2021 the patient experienced heart murmur and a high resting heart rate. Around 29Jun2021, the patient was feeling like her heart was moving in her chest and that it was out of synch and not right and that it was racing high and so the reporter called their family doctor who saw the patient the next day. They did an EKG that was irregular and now she had a heart murmur. She wasn't born with that and she had never had that and she didn't leave the hospital with that. She was fine until now with her having the murmur and the high resting heart rate, around 85. The caller didn't know the exact EKG irregularities because it said "normal" but they gave a copy to her and said to bring it to the cardiologist because it was not normal. I had a menstrual flow on 12/30/2020 and 12/31/2020 that was heavier than I?ve ever experienced. This was particularly abnormal because I had already had my period from 12/08/2020 through 12/18/2020. The length of which isn?t abnormal because they are usually long but light, due to utilizing my birth control to have only a single period every three months. Then, it seemingly disappeared until 01/06/2021 and 01/07/2021 when I experienced some spotting, but then on 01/08/2021 I had a normal amount of flow for a regular period that appeared to stop before I woke up on 01/10/2021. As of today 02/13/2021 I have yet to experience more bleeding.

Within minutes of 2nd dose of vaccine, pt started urinating dark brown urine. This turned bloody / dark red in color. Over the next several days she had migraines, fever, nausea, diarrhea. She had a very heavy period that was not normal for her. She was treated twice for presumed UTI (once with macrobid and then with cefuroxime) in the days after the vaccine though cultures ended up negative. She was referred to me, a hematologist, when she was noted to have a dropping hemoglobin and platelet count. She appears to have a Coombs-negative hemolytic anemia and possibly ITP. She is feeling a little better but her labs remain abnormal. Please note this was reported on Pfizer website as well but I have not been contacted. Guidance would be sincerely appreciated. My menstrual period ended about two days before the vaccination; however, it began again the night of the vaccination. Heavy bleeding. Fatigue. Still experiencing period - as if having a second period only two days after my last period ended.

I randomly got my period after just having it. So - I had my period, went through a cycle, did not have my period for 5 days, then randomly got it again. I also have a kyleena IUD and my cycles are usually very regular.

Period spotting. I have never had period spotting in my life until the day after I had the Covid vaccine. It happened once the day after the vaccine, stopped, and then started the following week again.

I am 10 days late for my period, and I have always had a 27-29 day cycle. I have taken 5 pregnancy tests and am not pregnant. I did cycle between my doses. I had my second dose of 3/21/2021, and was expected to start my period on 4/5/2021. It is now 4/13/2021.

I never have a late period, but I was meant to start on the 9th - one week after shot one. Now, 6 days later (and a confirmed negative pregnancy test), I still have not started my period. This is abnormal for me.

Covid arm---redness, warmth, swelling suddenly on 4/4/21. Extended length of menstrual cycle. Menstrual cycle started day after vaccine, as scheduled, but did not end until 4/15/21. The menstrual cycle was the same amount as a normal period the entire time.

In addition to the typical expected reaction to the Pfizer vaccine (fever, sore arm, etc.), I have been suffering from abnormal menstrual bleeding since the vaccination. I felt as though it was necessary to report because my doctors have no idea what is causing this, and nothing else could be affecting it. I have been bleeding for 2 weeks now (starting April 5), with clots around 5". I had a full CBC in January and found nothing abnormal that could explain this, including no history of extended bleeding (historical max of 7 days).

Chills and hot flashes starting 5pm(estimated) April 12th and continuing until April 18th. No temperature measured except the 16th when temperature fluctuations measured between 94-98 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the day (fluctuating fairly quickly with multiple degree differences within minutes of each other, thermometer was correct when compared with a second thermometer's readings) Migraines all day Tuesday (13th of April) and Wednesday (14th of April) with severe nausea worsening at night, stayed laying or sitting down to keep from throwing up. Period (menstruation) started this day as well, and bleeding was heavier than normal with severe cramps which I never experience. Migraines are also never experienced as a symptom of menstruation. Migraines continued until Monday April 19th but were much lighter and without nausea or stomach cramping. Period ends today (April 21rst), the blood having been heavy the entire time. Outcome: I am still getting headaches but nothing as severe as before and am able to go about normal life again. Treatment: Did not see any professionals for symptoms. Took Ibuprofen for pain on Saturday and Sunday (and avoided pain killers at all before that for fear of that possibly being dangerous and complicating things if my condition had worsened and I needed to seek medical care). Saturday and Sunday I only took 1 dose each day. I did take coffee to try to help with the migraines Saturday and Sunday as well and that with the Ibuprofen helped a little bit.

Major breakthrough bleeding in middle of mensural cycle along side painful cramps. Breakthrough bleeding is not common for patient.

Have not had a menstrual cycle since receiving the vaccine. I am fairly regular, the most I have ever missed was one month.

Since my second dose, I've been experiencing migraines, shortness of breath, and an extremely increased heart rate. I started my period on Tuesday (which has always been incredibly regular and predictable for 5+ years while being on birth control). A little over a day after 2nd shot the site became swollen, red, warm, itchy, and painful to move and to touch area. The 2nd and third days the area expanded to about 2-3 inches in diameter and continued to be red, warm, itchy, painful, and swollen. I have not stopped menstrual bleeding. It started roughly one week (give or take) after my second dose. However, I did notice a change in my menstrual cycle after the first dose, however, the nonstop bleeding only occurred after the second dose.

It was unlike any pain I had experienced ever before. 5/3 - I developed a metallic taste in my mouth that could not be washed away with water or food. It was extremely noticeable. 5/4 - My period came a week early. I have been on birth control for seven years and have never experienced any changes in my menstrual cycle. I made no other lifestyle or health changes other than the vaccine. The period was extremely heavy, full of clots, and was painful. It lasted longer than usual, until about 5/9. 5/16 - I developed another period only a week after the first period. This period was equally as heavy and long-lasting. It remained until about 5/21. Following the vaccine, I began suffering from heart palpitations, leg cramps, and random pains. I did not experience these prior to the vaccine. I cannot identify the date these symptoms began, but it was within the first week of taking the vaccine.

I called my OB today and she is going to call me back in the morning to let me know what to do. I was last seen on Friday at ER again. Pregnancy History - One other pregnancy - carried twins fine. Since the first dose, I have had heavy menstrual bleeding. I initially thought it was spotting in between the sugar pills in my birth control, but this problem has consisted for the last two weeks since the shot. I am not trying to get pregnant and I have not had this kind of issue before. I felt sick (like the flu and cramps) the first 24 hours after the shot as well as both my arms hurting despite only my left arm getting the shot, then felt normal other than the menstrual bleeding and persistent arm pain.

Started with nausea, quickly become vomiting, then headache and exhaustion. This cycle repeated every 20 minutes or so for approximately 3 hours until eventually each cycle would have more time in between each one and I rested for longer each time. I did not fully go to sleep until shortly after 2 am. I was also supposed to get my period a week or so after I got the vaccine and it never happened. It is now 6/24/21 and I have still not had a period since receiving the 2nd dose of the pfizer vaccine. According to my cycle pattern, I should get my next period next week, but have yet to have any PMS symptoms that I usually get. The patient experienced excessive bleeding in the vaginal area and what looks like skin like shedding/mucus shedding on 07Jun2021 11:00 AM. No treatments were given for the events. Facility where the most recent COVID-19 vaccine was administered: Pharmacy or Drug Store. Prior to vaccination, the patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19. Much Heavier menstrual cycle than normal. It was heavy for 7 days and I experienced painful cramps from Lower abdomen/back to my inner thighs for 3/7 days of the cycle. My normal cycles last 5 days are are light after the first day with light cramping on the first day. This was very out of the ordinary for me as I had no dietary or exercise routine changes, nor did I start taking any medications at this time.

The patient usually gets period every month regularly may be 2-3 days late but last first day of menstrual cycle was on 18Mar2021 and it was 03May2021 and still did not get menstrual cycle. The patient was not pregnant and did not have sex or engage in sexual activities. The month before that, first day of period was on 09Feb2021 and this was first period after first COVID-19 vaccine and then second menstrual cycle came on 18Mar2021 which is almost 9 days late. Since 18Mar2021, still have not gotten period (16 days late). This all began after getting the COVID-19 vaccine shots. I developed swelling and hives over 75% of my body and was given a shot of Epi shot because my throat closed. I developed a weakened immune system from the vaccine. I am 8 week pregnant and developed a Blighted Ovum and I am currently going through a miscarriage to date. Rather not release any info regarding the pregnancy

I didn't experience any symptoms other than soreness at the injection site in the 48 hours I got the vaccine on Wednesday, March 10, until Friday, March 26, where I had serious period cramps on top of fatigue, headache, fever, and chills. In the 24 hours since the first symptom was identified, the headache and the chills disappeared, leaving a little bit of fatigue and fluctuating fever. The last I checked, I have a 100.3 degree Fahrenheit fever. I check my temperature every hour or so.

I never connected it to my vaccination however its clear that it is the cause of my heavy menstrual flow.

Early menstrual spotting/bleeding and cramping. I am on the 3 month birth control pill and have never experienced spotting this early into a pack.

Spotting/bleeding consistently from 4/5/21. Still spotting as of 4/19/21. No full period/full flow (cycle day 1) as of yet. I wear an Ava watch that tracks my cycle, and based on the data from this month ovulation did not occur. I believe that the shot does affect cycles and fertility as I asked two of my friends that have experienced similar symptoms.

4/4: Woke up Easter Sunday with the following symptoms: sweats, chills, uncontrollable shaking, fatigue, dizziness, nausea, and shortness of breath. Went to Urgent Care, but it was closed for the holiday, so instead went to ER. See Item 19 for details. I was discharged within an hour because there was nothing seriously wrong with me, doctor wrote it off as a stomach bug and ordered me to rest and hydrate. 4/4 - 4/10: Virtually every day for this week went the exact same. I would wake up between 6-7am, feel nauseous, weak, no appetite, and shaking. Walking around my apartment would leave me utterly exhausted. I would nap from 9am-12pm, then again from 2-4pm. Ate very little, drank water and sports drinks when awake. Breathing was still shaky. Occasional diarrhea. 4/10: Although slightly less ill than the previous 6 days, I still felt weak, shaky, and exhausted. I went back to Urgent Care this time, and the doctor examined me. She noted my left ear was very inflamed and suspected an ear infection. She prescribed me a week of amoxycilin and told me to rest and eat bland foods. 4/12: After 2 days on the antibiotics, some of my symptoms cleared. I was no longer shaking or having shortness of breath, and although still tired, I did not sleep for half the day as I had the previous week. My appetite was not fully there yet, and in the mornings of this week I would wake up feeling nauseous for about 2 hours. On this day 4/12 my period also started, which is unusual. It was not due to start until around April 17th. My period is very regular and light due to being on birth control, so I consider this abnormal. The flow was also very heavy. 4/17: Heavy flow of my period slows significantly and is now just a slight pink/brown color. I only need a liner to contain it. This is also my last day of antibiotics, so I buy a probiotic supplement in the hopes that it will help settle my gut. 4/17-present (4/20): The morning nausea and lack of appetite are still present despite being off the antibiotics. Occasional discomfort in abdomen/chest. Unexplained muscle soreness in hips, legs, back, and chest. My bowel movement schedule has also completely changed. Normally I do not experience a bowel movement until late morning, after 10am. But for the past 2 weeks I have been woken up around 5:30am with a sudden urge. At the beginning of my illness it was diarrhea but now it has transitioned to slightly more solid feces. It is not really diarrhea anymore.

2 weeks or so after the second dose I had a very light 5 or so days of menstrual bleeding in the middle of my cycle. My cycles are between 35 and 40 days, so this was strange. I had the copper IUD put in in December so my body is still adjusting and I have very heavy periods. I have recently started my normal period afterward. The only change otherwise was receiving the 2nd dose of Pfizer.

My period came on much stronger after the vaccine, with the most significant change being in my cramps. I normally get cramps during the first couple days of my cycle, but never bad enough that it affects my life. After my first menstrual cycle after my first dose, my cramps were strong enough to wake me up in the middle of the night. My second cycle, which follows my second dose, had the same effect. I was woken up this morning with significant cramp pain and had to take medication to be able to get to work. It isn't a super serious side effect, but I'd definitely be interested in learning more about why that happened. I can't say for certain whether my flow was impacted or not.

Extreme muscle tightness in left calf. Ultrasound done on calf came back negative. Full brain/spinal cord scan done to detect demyelination of nerves - MRI came back normal. EMG done on left leg to check for peripheral nerve damage - EMG came back normal. Almost 8 weeks post 2nd dose and still experiencing muscle weakness/fatigue and muscle spasms, specifically in legs through feet. Hands and feet "fall asleep"/go numb very frequently, even when the extremities are not restricted in any way. No medication or other treatment given for symptoms. Extremely heavy and painful menstrual cycle this month (1 month after 2nd vaccine, Apr2021), which is extremely abnormal for patient. Events were assessed as serious with criteria of Disabling/Incapacitating. Adverse events resulted in doctor or other healthcare professional office/clinic visit. Prior to vaccination, the patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19. Since the vaccination, the patient has not been tested for COVID-19. No therapeutic measures were taken as a result of the events. The outcome of muscle weakness/fatigue and muscle spasms was not recovered; outcome of other events was unknown.

Early period tried to start despite being on birth control which controls timing. Effects were strong enough that bleeding occurred for entire week despite continued use of birth control.

Menstruation (7 days) - Super heavy flow and cramps. Required diapers and changing tampons every two hours.

Reports that she has not started her menstrual cycle since receiving her 2nd Pfizer vaccination on 4/20/21. She reports her LMP was 4/8/2021 and that she has always been "regular". If she has ever been late, it has only been a couple of days. Patient reports that she has a history of a bilateral tubal ligation almost 3 years ago, and that she had a negative home pregnancy test a couple of days ago. She is unsure the Pfizer vaccine has caused her to not have a menstrual cycle, but reports that there have been no other changes.

Been receiving severe abdominal pain, lower back pain and spotting exactly 1 week prior to when my period is supposed to start. This started when I received my first COVID vaccine, and has continued for two period cycles.

The patient previously took amoxicillin. The patient did not receive any other vaccines within 4 weeks prior to the COVID vaccine. On 15Apr2021 at 1500 the patient experienced Sore arm, body aches, low grade fever 99.1, menstruation 3 days early, Heavy menstruation, Lethargic, fainting from heavier menstruation, fatigue for 4 days, Headache, dry throat, thirsty. The patient was not hospitalized for the events. The outcome of the events was recovered with sequelae. Prior to vaccination, the patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19. Since the vaccination, the patient has not been tested for COVID-19.

Couple weeks after the second dose of vaccination i had flare up and had my periods every two weeks. It lasted about a month.

A lump appeared after the first shot in my left breast. It is still slightly present but has since diminished Ongoing aide effect is tinnitus. Following second dose. Approximately 24-48 hours later ringing began. I had no ringing of anything noticeable before. Ringing gets severe and very loud. On June 14 I lost hearing in left ear for 15 seconds completely. Another time since the second a similar incident occurred. Ringing also resulted in curtail today June 16 which required myself to lay down due to being so dizzy.

First period after 2nd vaccine does a noticeable difference in flow - very heavy bleeding. Bleeding through 1 maxi-pad in 1 hour or less. Cramps so painful that it's hard to walk.

I?ve had three periods since receiving the vaccine. All were mostly on time. The adverse effect I am experiencing is increased menstrual cramping. Normally my period cramps are bad on the first few hours of the first day of my period. Since the vaccine my period cramps have been painful for two to three days of each cycle.

I am now having the worst, heaviest periods and cramps I have ever experienced in my life. I am completely exhausted when I am on my period and sleep for hours, which is extremely unusual for me. I have experienced 3 menstrual cycles since receiving the vaccine.

I first started to experience very mild spotting and it seemed very irregular because I was taking my birth control on time. I also had Cramps; fatigue and dizziness and mood swings. Like I was getting a period without the period. Then the same symptoms happened a week later. I called the doctor to get phone appt with GYN Dr. I was not pregnant; she thought it might be hormonal imbalance and said to give it another month to see if it happened again. I have been on this same birth control for 10 years. Yesterday, June 23, I started having the same symptoms but I haven't started with any of the spotting yet so I had cramps; fatigue and dizziness and mood springs. Today, I'm not experiencing these symptoms.

After 1st vaccine: local reaction at vaccine site. Itching, swelling, redness spreading down upper arm. Persistent for about 4 days. Fatigue. Menstrual cycle 2 weeks early beginning day after vaccine. After 2nd vaccine: same local reaction that spread and presented similarly to cellulitis. Temperature 103F. Nausea, vomiting, fatigue, body aches, chills lasting about 72 hours. Menstrual cycle started day after vaccine 1 week early. Since vaccine fatigue has lingered but all other s/s have resolved.

On Day 2 after the vaccine I started my menstrual cycle a week early. I am never early. I had cramps, breast tenderness, and began bleeding.

Medical history included depression and GERD (as reported). The patient received unspecified medications within 2 weeks of vaccination. The patient previously received penicillin (MANUFACTURER UNKNOWN) for unspecified indication and experienced drug allergy Prior to the vaccination, the patient was diagnosed with COVID-19. Since the vaccination, the patient had not been tested for COVID-19. The patient had not received any other vaccines within four weeks prior to the vaccination. Nothing was wrong with me after my first dose, my period came a day late which is normal for me to get it later and it was like any other period I had this year. I then got the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine on 06/28/2021 meaning in 07/12/2021 I would be deemed fully vaccinated. Just a day after, today 07/13/2021 I got my period 3 days earlier when that has NEVER happened to me in my 10 years of having a period, its always like I said a day to a week (max) late. My period came in like a fully opened faucet, making me change my pads every hour, my cramps are so intense I feel dizzy, fatigued, on the verge of passing out from the pain and if I could afford a hospital bill I would?ve been there hours ago getting help. I can?t even stand or move too much without breaking down in pain. These cramps are NO joke. I took 2 ibuprofen 600 mg an hour apart from each other and it?s been 4 hours singed and I have no improvement. I do have ovarian cysts in both ovaries and usually have bad periods with stronger cramps than what other healthy women experience but this is completely different. Fever within 6 hours of the second dose, late menstrual period, and missed menstrual period the month afterwards. Treated by gynecologist and blood work analysis.

Terrible mensuration cramps began in June, didn't think anything of it, went away. In July terrible shooting pains in left hip/uterine area, assumed it was mensuration related until I couldn't walk because the pain moved down my legs and I couldn't sleep. Really bad bloating, fatigue, cervix extremely painful to touch during exam. Diagnosed with Pelvic Inflammatory Disease and a Yeast infection.

I started having cramps Friday night and Saturday morning I started bleeding, by Saturday evening I was passing clots and tissue. ER doctor and nurses did tests and found I was having a miscarriage.

Period started significantly early. It started 1 day after vaccine, 15 days after last cycle began. Patient has significant past medical history of oligomenorrhea and has never had before had an early cycle in the 13 years since menstruation began.

Patient developed headache, fever and extreme sweating the evening after vaccination. Also, she developed gum swelling, purple spots on the gums, sores in the mouth, and fever blisters on the lips. Symptoms worsened and patient went to the facility to get a COVID test, which was negative. Over the weekend, patient developed swollen lymph nodes/neck and also noticed a lump in the left breast (same side as vaccination). Patient was nursing 11 month old and supply diminished (never returned). Went to stat care and was diagnosed with strep throat over the weekend. About 2 weeks post-vaccinations symptoms resolved and lump in breast no longer present.

My hair started falling out drastically within a couple days of getting the first and second vaccine and it?s still falling out immensely. My period was also 10 days late and it?s never late

Period completely stopped. I was very heavily bleeding on the day of my period but the next day (today) after my period no blood at all. Has never happened before. Maybe just a coincidence.

Three days after receiving my first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, I began menstruating 5 days ahead of schedule. My period has been regular for years now so it was unusual for it to begin so early, it has also continued longer than usual. Typically my periods last 5 days at most, but this one is still continuing on day 8. Other than the unusual timing and long duration, there does not seem to be anything concerning about it but I felt I should report it incase this turns out to be a significant side effect of the vaccine.

I had my period last week. The day after my vaccine, my vagina kept bleeding on and off. The consistency of the blood was much thinner than what I generally experience during my period. On the second day after, I am currently experiencing occasional pain in my genital area. This is embarrassing for me to write but I know others who have experienced similar side effects. For this reason, I feel the need to voice this side effect.

One day after the shot, I had menstrual spotting for the first time in 7 years. I use the Nexplanon birth control implant and I have not had bleeding or spotting since 2014. It was dark red and dry. It lasted for a day. It was shocking because I have not had anything that would cause it except for the vaccine. My body feels healthy otherwise.

The first dose of the Pfizer vaccine was taken on March 15th at 8:30. Within a week I started feeling weak joints, headaches followed by a sharp pain on the occipital lobe. I started my period for the second time that month, which was odd because it never happened to me before. I went to work that week, but by Friday (March 30th) I was not able to handle the pain so after work I went to the doctor and they took blood to see if there was anything going on. The result came back the following day and everything was normal. I was given medicine (muscle relaxers) for the occipital pain, but it was not enough. At that time I was not sure what was the cause of it, I thought it was a bad flu, but I didn't come to the conclusion that it was because of the vaccine, because a week had passed by, so I thought it was impossible. The doctor asked for me to take an X-Ray for the occipital pain, so I did (March 30th) and it resulted in everything being fine. She also recommended for me to get an abdominal ultrasound to see if my uterus was fine due to the second period. I currently took the second Pfizer dose in the same location, but this time around I felt all of these symptoms within 3 hours of the vaccination. I started feeling lightheaded and dazed, my joints started feeling weak, my mouth and tongue started feeling sensitive (fever blisters and sensitive to anything that is acidic, spicy, etc). I have not visited the doctor this time around because the pain is tolerable. I have noticed in increase of joint pain as the days go by.

I received my period 2 weeks early (15 days after my last period). This is highly unusual for my cycle.

Got my period a week early. Very heavy flow and had it for almost two weeks when I usually only have it for 4 days with a very light flow.

Within 24 hours developed a more ?normal? reaction with fatigue, aches, fever, and chills. After that initial phase, around 48 hours after the second shot on April 8th, developed extreme fatigue/exhaustion, aches, muscle pains, headache, nausea, chills, diarrhea, and skin burning/itching where I have existing scars. One week after 2nd vaccine (after 7 days of being sick) menstruation came early and experienced heavy, heavy bleeding. This is now day 2 of heavy bleeding and all other continued symptoms.

Medical history included Hashimotos , adhd (as reported), allergies to: Latex, corn, mint, morphine , beets, tobacco. Concomitant medication(s) in two weeks included lisdexamfetamine mesilate (VYVANSE), levothyroxine, liothyronine (NP THYROID) and levocetirizine dihydrochloride (XYZAL), all taken for an unspecified indication, start and stop date were not reported. Reported that "A few hours after i had an unbearable headache that was not relieved until I took 800mg of ibuprofen and then 1000mg of Tylenol an hour later at about 1am. Full body aches and exhaustion. I also got menstrual like cramps for several days. Period began a week earlier than usual and thus far as been very heavy with additional clotting. So far I am on day 3 of this period and had to change my cup 4 times throughout the night where I usually only need to change it once or twice. As I am very anemic this is concerning.

Extreme change in menstrual cycle. I got cramps the same day as the vaccine, more than a week early, which has never happened before in my life. I have already had my period for over 9 days, and it is not done yet, which is already much longer than normal. Stronger cramps and stronger flow. It also started differently than normal, with light bleeding for days at the beginning. I also felt much stronger depression than I have ever felt in my life before. It was overwhelming. I was about to change my birth control method before I put the two together because the pain, flow, and depression were so bad it was unbearable. I was unable to work. I did not report these symptoms on my follow-up survey that I received every day for a week after because I did not know it was connected to the vaccine. I feel so relieved to understand what is going on.

Headache after a few hours she experienced lower abd pain, cramps, nausea and for one day experienced vaginal discharge and bleeding, unrelated to her menses. She did not call her PCP or go to the urgent care, she decided to rest and monitor herself, she did take 400mg Motrin for the headache stated that most of the adverse reactions have resolved except for the nausea and cramps. RN recommended rest, light meals such as soup and lots of fluids and to continue to monitor herself and if these sx continue to make an appt with her PCP for further evaluation. She was agreeable.

After my vaccine I experienced an abnormally long period cycle. Typically my menstruated cycle lasts 3-4 days and this time it lasted 7-9days.

At 5:15 pm, same day as shot, a migraine occurred. A bad migraine, unable to stand because it caused so much pain in my head. at 8:00PM I went to bed due to the pain. at 1:15 AM, my body was in pain. My right rib cage hurt so bad that I couldn't sleep on my right side. My legs, back, and pelvic bones were in so much pain as well. I felt as if my bones were going to break or I had severely bruised my bones. Breathing, coughing, sneezing hurt because of my rib cage hurting. My migraine had not gone away, and my lymph nodes were really swollen. Couldn't put my arms down, my neck was swollen and walking hurt because my legs were swollen. This occurred for 24 hours. Next day, migraine is gone and left a headache. Swelling is still prominent and bones still hurt.

I received my first shot on April 5th, 2021, and my second shot on April 26th, 2021. I haven?t had a period since receiving my first dose. My menstrual cycle is now a week late, and I?m usually very regular.

I started to get my period every 2 weeks which is very unusual. because of the certain birth control i am on, i have not had a period in almost 5 years, and now as soon as i got the vaccine i started to get my period, and it?s not the normal once a month, it?s every 2 weeks .

I have taken birth control pills consistently for the past 9 years. I take each pill at 8pm every night (I am very meticulous). I have never experienced spotting between my cycles until 24 hours after I received my second dose of the Pfizer covid-19 vaccine. I have not changed anything in my daily routine except getting the Pfizer covid-19 vaccine When I experienced bleeding I was on week 2, day 2 of my active birth control pills, and was not scheduled to start my period for another week and 5 days. I am now on my third week of pills and I still have my period (it has been 6 days now). I contacted my primary doctor and notified her of my experience and she instructed me to report the event to VAERS.

Random spotting and cramping after getting vaccine for a day (Thursday). Wasn?t supposed to get my period as it had already ended a few days prior. Spotting only lasted for the day.

Started spotting only an hour after second dose of Pfizer. It did not look like a period flow, since it was more of a bright red liquid and a much lighter flow. Cramped consistently throughout the night. The next morning, found a much larger flow than normal (and not as much clotting like a normal period flow). This period came one week earlier than expected as well. Also had very sore breasts the last two weeks since the first dose.

Change in menstruation. I?ve always had a regular period every 28-30 days heavy flow for 3-4 days and light flow for 3-4 days. They lasted exactly 7 days and I had never had spotting before. On March 11 I began spotting. That lasted for two days then I got a medium flow for an additional 7 days. That period came 2 weeks early and lasted 9 days. My next cycle came two weeks later and last 9-10 days 16 days later I started spotting again and have been menstruating for the past 7 days.

Significant change in menses. Typically cycles once every three months with continuous birth control use. Menses in January (after first vaccination) was significantly heavier with passage of clots.

This 25 year old white female received the Covid shot on 1/26/21 and went to the ED on 2/26/21 with the following diagnoses listed below. The patient was under the care of an OB/GYN. It is unknown if this patient was pregnant and would need further investigation. N93.9 - Abnormal uterine and vaginal bleeding, unspecified.

I had the Pfizer vaccine dose 1. I have had a regular period the entire time I've had a menstrual cycle. I never experience late or early periods. I have never been pregnant either. However, the day after I got the vaccine (this morning) I woke up with a heavy period. No signs of cramping or other PMS symptoms. It is 2 weeks early. I have found multiple women (20+) who have experienced a disruption of their cycle and it is unbelievable I cannot find any actual research on this or reasons why this is occurring yet the vaccine is being pushed onto our nation. Some women I spoke to missed their period, some have been bleeding for weeks. We want answers as to why this is happening and how it is going to affect us in the long-run.

Mid-grade fever, headache, muscle soreness, body aches - all starting 18 hours after injection and lasting 24 hours Delayed/unusually heavy menstrual cycle

All of the below occurred after Pfizer shot #2 administered on 4/1/2021. Pfizer shot #1 was administered on 3/12/2021 with minimal effects lasting less than 24 hours (arm soreness, flu-like symptoms, etc.). 1) Severe worsening of costochondritis (chronic chest pain) to the point of breathing difficulty and inability to lie down. Began 4/1/2021 and became unbearable the evening of 4/7/2021, requiring an ER trip the same night (see Item 19). This pain has since continued to come and go, worse than I ever had it before the vaccine. 2) Very severe worsening of tinnitus (ringing/pulsing in ears) - lasted 1.5 months, from 4/1/2021 to around 5/15/2021. 3) Severe hormone imbalance symptoms (waves of severe nausea occurring several times daily, extremely late and painful/heavy period, swelling in ankles & feet, etc.) for ~1.5 months, from late April 2021 to around 5/15/2021. I cannot identify any other changes or life factors besides the vaccine that would have caused these issues.

Menstrual cycles have been more inconsistent since the vaccine was administered. Pt was on period and spotting for about 50 days in total. Pt went to a Drs office for a physical, a pap smear and HPV testing. Results came back normal. Ob/gyn prescribed birth control pill to regulate periods taken daily. Since beginning birth control, spotting was still consistent, every day. Pt was prescribed a different form of hormonal birth control pill which pt has not began yet.

5/28/21 12:00 pm: queasiness, nausea, vomiting, fever, chills. Pain and soreness in left neck and left arm. Pain and soreness in left inner thigh. 5/29/21 9:00 am: fever, swelling of left side lymph nodes including ones on the face, neck, arm, armpit area. Pain and soreness in left inner thigh. More than usual pain and soreness in left neck and left arm. 5/30/21 10:00 am: Extreme swelling of left side lymph nodes. Lymph nodes in the armpit tender to touch, painful to move left arm. Neck swollen and extremely painful on the left side. Pain and soreness in left inner thigh. 5/31/21: Lymph nodes still extremely painful and swollen from left side of face, neck, and down to armpit. Pain and soreness in left inner thigh. 6/1-6/3/21: Side effects as described above continue to persist. 6/4/21: Left breast is swollen and double the size compared to right breast. Extremely tender and painful to touch. Right breast is minimally sore. Lymph nodes still tender, painful and swollen from left side of face, neck, and down to armpit. Pain and soreness in left inner thigh. 6/5-6/7/21: Left breast is still swollen and larger than usual. Extremely tender and painful to touch. Lymph nodes still remain swollen, but not as painful and tender. Left thigh pain still persists. 6/8/21 11:30pm: Lymph nodes in armpit area begin to get very painful again. Tender and painful to the touch, swelling. Painful to sleep on left side, painful to move left arm. Left breast is still swollen, larger than usual and tender. Right breast is completely normal. Left thigh pain still persists. 6/9/21 11:50am: Lymph nodes in neck are swollen and very painful again, lymph nodes in armpit area are painful and tender. Hurts to move left arm. Tightness in upper left arm area. Left breast is still swollen and sore. Left thigh pain still persists.

Due to my IUD, have not had a period in 2 years (PMS symptoms are minimal too). On 4/25, I woke up with horrible cramping and nausea. I was irritable, in pain, and needed to use feminine products for the first time in years. Since this vaccine, I have had spotting and cramping randomly. This did not happen pre-vaccine. No treatment known (other than removal) that is preferable. Slowly this is going back to normal but still having random days of spotting. Filing a report in case there is a reaction found between hormones (birth control) and vaccine ingredients.

On Apr2021 patient experienced she has missed her menstrual cycle this month, has not got period. Patient has received both the Pfizer Covid vaccine shots is reporting that she has missed her menstrual cycle this month and wants to know if vaccine affects the female cycle. Patient took both doses and by end of Apr2021 both at 16:30 to 16:45, and is calling bc she doesn't know if normal, she has not got period, she is 100% not pregnant, always gets on time, wonder is COVID vaccine has something related. Her period should have come on 01May2021, and she is wondering if the vaccine affects menstrual cycles or female health. The patient did not visited emergency room and physician office. The outcome for the events was unknown. No follow-up attempts are needed. No further information is expected.

It started with headaches, they got worse and then I woke up one day with Bell's palsy, that was on July 7, 2021. I already had an appointment set up for the 8th of July so my doctor checked me out then. My doctor gave me prednisone for five days and told me if anything got worse, to go to the ER. I ended up in the ER on 7/13/2021 because of the migraines and they did a CT scan and everything came back normal so they told me to follow up with my PCP so I am seeing her on July 22, 2021. I also had a miscarriage, I was to deliver on September 24, 2021. I was 17 weeks pregnant when I received my second dose of the vaccine. I have miscarried before as well.

A 25-year-old non-pregnant female patient received the second dose of BNT162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE, lot number: EP8736) via an unspecified route of administration in the left arm on 23Apr2021 (at the age of 25- years-old) as a single dose for COVID-19 immunisation. The patient did not have any relevant medical history. The patient had no known allergies. Concomitant medications included escitalopram oxalate (LEXAPRO) for unknown indication form unknown date. The patient previously received first dose of BNT162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE, lot number: EW0150) via an unspecified route of administration in the left arm on 02Apr2021.Prior to the vaccination, the patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19. The patient did not receive any other vaccines within four weeks prior to the vaccination. On 28Apr2021, the patient underwent rapid COVID-19 virus test and the result was found to be negative. On 23Apr2021 the patient experienced delayed menstrual cycle. The clinical outcome of the event delayed menstrual cycle was unknown at the time of this report. No follow-up attempts are needed. A 25-years-old female patient received BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE; Solution for injection; Lot Number: EN6201; Expiration date was not reported), via an unspecified route of administration, administered in Arm Left on 16Feb2021 14:30 (at the age of 25-years-old) as DOSE 1, SINGLE for covid-19 immunisation. Medical history and concomitant medications included none. The patient experienced vaginal bleeding on 17Feb2021. The patient underwent lab tests and procedures which included TB skin test with unknown result on 10Feb2021. It was reported that patient had a TB skin test last Wednesday at the time of this report. Caller received vaccine and then on morning of this report, had some vaginal bleeding. She wanted to know if this was a reported side effect. The patient was taking Pfizer-BioNTech as she works in a healthcare facility and stated she was a receptionist and does the billing. She got the first dose of the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine the day before this report. On 17Feb2021, the day of this report, she went to the restroom. And when she wiped, she had blood coming out. She has had her menstrual cycle this month. She was unsure if this was a side effect or if she needed to go get checked out. Physician address, phone and email are unknown to caller. There was one little spot on the pad. The blood comes out when she wipes. It was red in color. History of all previous immunization with the Pfizer vaccine considered as suspect and additional vaccines administered on same date of the Pfizer Suspect, investigation assessment or relevant Tests included none. AE did not require a visit to Emergency Room or Physician Office. Outcome of the event was not recovered and ongoing at the time of this report. Follow-up attempts completed.
